Prepare your trip in French Polynesia

Do you dream of turquoise lagoons, tropical vegetation, swimming with rays or sharks or just resting under a coconut tree on the beach? Welcome to French Polynesia!

Although French Polynesia is often associated with Tahiti or Bora Bora, it is useful to know that Polynesia is a group of 118 islands and atolls spread over 5 archipelagos! So it's a large area of the South Pacific. Of course, it is impossible to cover all the archipelagos on a first trip, unless you spend several months there.

During our first stay in Polynesia, we focused on the Society Islands archipelago (Windward Islands and Leeward Islands) as well as the Tuamotus. Unfortunately, our stay in the Tuamotus did not go very well because of bad weather, so we do not prefer to talk about it here, at the risk of not being precise enough on the subject. We therefore suggest that you share our advice and feedback on the 4 islands on which we have spent enough time to talk to you about it, namely: Moorea, Maupiti, Tahaa and Huahine.
